A Makeup Update with e.l.f. #eyeslipsface cosmetics #CBias

I've always loved makeup and for years I would only buy the expensive department store brands. Before my kids, this kind of splurge was no problem. But fast forward three years - I have 3 month old twins and a three year old - and a budget to go with them. I've found myself still sticking to my favorite make-up brands, but only buying the basics, because anything else would be way too expensive. Most days, I put on foundation, a little blush, the same color lipgloss everyday, mascara and that's it. I'd love to have more selection in my makeup bag!
 
So, I was really excited to take on the challenge of giving my makeup bag a much needed overhaul and myself a new look with  e.l.f. cosmetics - all for $20. Yes, $20. I have purchased foundations alone that cost that much or more! e.l.f, or eyes lips face, has a full line of top-rated, quality makeup products, most for $1.00-$3.00 per item. It makes it possible to get a lot for a little.

I shopped for e.l.f everyday cosmetics at a Walmart Supercenter here in NJ.

  

  I was able to find most of what I had previewed online - and with such great prices, I literally wanted one of everything!

I was able to score a lot of makeup for $20. I was able to clean out the old makeup bag and give myself some more choices when applying makeup. 

Out with the old...

  ...in with the new. All for $20!

Now, you might be asking about the quality - given the prices. But I can tell you, as a shopper of some high-priced makeup lines, e.l.f measures up in quality! The colors are rich, the texture and composition of the makeup itself is all there to the standards I would expect! Now that I've discovered e.l.f cosmetics, I might just need a bigger makeup bag.
